The Affiliate Love Project is being launched with a bang. Well, actually more like a $250 Amazon.com gift card. I was thinking about what a cool prize would be to offer for an initial contest, and came to the conclusion that I’d leave that up to the winner. Since Amazon.com has pretty much everything from iPods to groceries, you choose how you want to spend it.
The winner will be selected in a random drawing on June 19th, 2009. Deadline to enter the contest is June 18th, 2009 11:59pm PST.
Here is the good news. There are 3 ways to enter (if you do all 3 you will be entered into the drawing 3 times).

- Join any of the affiliate networks on this page for the first time and earn at least $10 in commission between now and June 18th. You must sign up through this site to get credit. Once signed up send us your affiliate ID from the networks and your Twitter name.
Note that anyone caught trying to cheat on this contest will be withdrawn. Please let us know if you have any questions. Also note that this prize is being provided from my own pocket (@drumminlogan) and not from any earnings from this site. All earnings go towards charity.

Scott Richter, CEO of affiliate.com is participating in a special event supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in Colorado. On May 14th, he will be taken “into custody” at a local restaurant and won’t be let go until he raises $15,000. The money will be going to help 20 kids go to MDA summer camp later on in the year.

Affiliate Summit, one of the premier affiliate marketing conferences around has teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City for its conference in August. Taking place August 9-11, 2009 at the Hilton New York, Affiliate Summit East 2009 will include sponsorships and activities to generate donations from the affiliate marketing community to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. Our first charity that we will be raising money for in May and June, will be Heifer International, a non-profit organization whose goal is to help end world hunger and poverty through self-reliance & sustainability.
